Luke 9:46-50:
"46 Yesuas disciples debated among themselves, which of them was the greatest.
47 And Yesua, perceiving their thoughts and feelings, brought a child, who sat beside him,
48 and Yesua said unto them:
Whosoever shall welcome this child, also welcomes me:
and whoever welcomes me welcomes him that sent me:
whoever is the most humble is the greatest
49 And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name;
and we forbad him, because he is not with us.
50 And Yesua said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us."
Mark 9:33-40:
"33 Jesus and his disciples went to his home in Capernaum.
After they were inside the house, Jesus asked them, What were you arguing about along the way?
34 They had been arguing about which one of them was the greatest, and so they did not answer.
35 After Jesus sat down and told the twelve disciples to gather around him, he said,
If you want the place of honor, you must become a slave and serve others!
36 Then Jesus had a child stand near him. He put his arm around the child and said,
37 When you welcome even a child because of me, you welcome me.
And when you welcome me, you welcome the one who sent me."
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant,
and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
Mark 10:18 "And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God."
Luke 13:30 "And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last. "
